Today is Columbus Day!! Just in case you didn't know, it is a celebration of the day this big guy made it to the Americas. Think of how different life would be if he stayed at home, didn't listen to his calling and search to seek out adventure in the midst of disbelievers. I'm sure someone else would have come along so it wouldn't necessarily be a whole lot different by the year 2011, but we will never know! In my mind Columbus is a good example of going against the flow.
